Hi, I’m Juan R. Lage an animator, illustrator, and audiovisual director based in Argentina.
I work across traditional and digital animation, developing projects that range from character-based pieces to more graphic and abstract approaches.
My practice combines hand-drawn techniques with contemporary tools, informed by my interests in cinema, drawing, and music, and shaped through my way of working and visual language.
I’ve collaborated with studios, brands, and artists including Kenzo, Spotify, Bayerische Staatsoper, Blinkink, GIPHY, Microsoft, Bizarrap, Red Velvet, and others, working across advertising, music videos, and live visual performances.
Alongside commissioned work, I develop personal projects that explore new forms, techniques, and narrative possibilities.
